Around 150 Franprix Darwin by 2019

Only the ones able to adapt to their environment will survive. Franprix has adopted Darwin’s theory by calling internally its latest store concept “Franprix Darwin”.
Franprix’s latest Darwin concept store will offer plethora of novelties which will address three key consumers’ expectations: catering, commitment and responsibilities, and service.
The catering area is getting bigger and is clearly separated from the rest of the shop, in a cozy environment. The ready-to-eat range has been enlarged, with products for breakfast, organic meals and the daily special changing every day.
Franprix Darwin also commits to be more environmental-friendly with its energy consumption estimated to be twice lower compared to a Franprix store two years ago. With 70 bulk products on offer, Darwin is proposing organic products and trendy brands surfing on the healthy eating trend.
The store also makes available to clients a pesticide detector so they can control for themselves the level of nitrate in the fruits and vegetables, which are available from underneath a refrigerated area in order to maximise their conservation.
The last pillar of the Darwin’s concept is the range of services available, from printing photographs, to delivery points, newspapers, and so on. And a bicycle pump available from outside the store.
