Gorillas presents its own private labels

The French quick-commerce leader is structuring its offer with the arrival of its own private labels. Gorillas has announced the launch of a range of own brands in four priority markets, namely Germany, France, the Netherlands and the UK.

The German distributor will be adding around fifty products to its catalogue. These will be based on four different ranges with Anglo-Saxon overtones, in line with European transversality: Gorillas Daily, Gorillas Premium, Hot Damn Coffee and Start-up Beer.

The selection was made from the 11 categories favoured by quick-commerce customers. The most accessible range, Daily, includes cold cuts, pasta sauces, Italian cheese and snack items. These are also available in Premium, as well as a range of fresh pasta and gnocchi. For the aperitif, Gorillas offers two references of craft beers: Bavarian Helles and Pale Ale. Finally, with the Hot Damn range, the operator is positioning itself on the top-of-the-range coffee market, available in beans, ground coffee and recyclable pods.

Beers will be the first private label products to be displayed on the Gorillas app as the Start-up Beer range will be released on June 9th. The Daily, Premium and Hot Damn offers are expected later this month.
